Cache County, the hub of northern Utah, is known for its rich heritage in agriculture, higher education, new industry, natural resources, outdoor recreation, and quality of life.
Working closely with the County, CRS has provided engineering services to support their objectives. This has included engineering for a new bridge crossing over the Logan River and under US-89 in scenic Logan Canyon. CRS effectively minimized impacts to traffic, wildlife, and vegetation while designing this vital connection in the Logan Canyon Trail system.
CRS also assisted the County in the role of program manager for the County’s $12 million NRCS federally funded Emergency Watershed Protection Program for numerous projects to protect against future flooding along the Blacksmith Fork and Logan Rivers.
“The projects we’ve asked CRS to manage have been complex and high profile. They have worked tirelessly to successfully meet project challenges, perform difficult analyses, and gain consensus among numerous and diverse stakeholders–from private citizens and local leaders to federal agencies and elected officials.”
