As part of the 12th Street full depth road reconstruction, CRS provided design and construction management services for 6-miles of 24-inch waterline for Weber Basin Water water, 1-mile of 12-inch waterline for Taylor West Weber Water Improvement District, and an additional 1.5-miles for West Warren Water District. This design included substantial utility conflict resolution, design of air-vac valves and draining locations to minimize downtime in the event of any necessary repairs. The storm drain design incorporated critical components of both urban and rural storm-water management. A primary objective was closing in an existing roadside ditch to improve safety and drainage along the corridor. The successful implementation of this project helped prevent flooding and stretch of roadway in 2017 when areas around this project experienced substantial flooding.
