Sandy City contracted CRS to design and manage the construction of a well house and pickleball courts in the Flat Iron Mesa park. Designing post-tensioned playing courts is an art as much as it is engineering. The design team helped Sandy City to employ design methods, including appropriate tension schedules, joint placement in playing surfaces, and post sleeves placement to provide state-of-the-art courts for the City’s residents to enjoy for years to come. Our team was also contracted for the design and construction management of a pump station adjacent to the courts. Being in a high visibility area, the design needed to minimize impacts to surrounding properties.
