CRS Engineers is working with Weber County to widen 6.5 miles of 12th Street–a vital east-west county corridor. In addition to engineering design for the roadway, our civil engineering team provided right of way design to assist in acquiring the land needed to widen the road from 66’ to 100’–which included 178 total parcels. Design is complete for Phase I and construction engineering services will be provided throughout construction, which began in early 2016.
Design for subsequent phases of the roadway includes structural evaluations of canals, culverts, and crossings; wetlands delineation/permitting and stream channel permitting; and design for the relocation of major utilities in the alignment, including natural gas, power, local culinary and sewer lines, and a high pressure 5.5 mile 24″ diameter water line.
