Ashley Valley Water and Sewer Improvement District contracted with ESI (Now CRS) to design and oversee construction on a 3 million gallon underground concrete water tank. ESI represented the District in obtaining a 99 year lease of BLM controlled property which the project was constructed on. All civil site work was completed by ESI. ESI coordinated the design of the post tensioned concrete tank from VSL Structural and the geotechnical work as well. The foundation of the tank had to be stabilized with cobble rock before the tank footings could be poured. Structural design was also provided for the concrete vault housing for the water tank controls. ESI provided bidding and contract documents as well as construction oversight of the project from start to finish.
