In response to the debris flow following the Dump Fire, CRS provided same day response on Labor Day to assist the City in directing the emergency response crews. Following the initial emergency response efforts, CRS supported Saratoga Springs in obtaining over $3.5 million in funding from the NRCS to restore and strengthen over a mile of open channels and 50-acre-foot debris to provide protection from this extensive drainage, which burns on average once every 8-10-years. CRS became an emergency support consultant for Saratoga Springs, and we have provided support for fire response three additional times since this project in 2012.
