In June of 2020, the “Knoll’s Fire” in Saratoga Springs, UT, burned thousands of acres and caused hundreds of homes to be evacuated. CRS was on-site the next day to assist in stabilizing potential flood areas. The fire burned across seven drainages, causing a risk for severe flooding. Stabilization began with silt fencing and rock sourced on-site. Funding from the NRCS was obtained in less than a month. CRS is grateful for the fast response of first responders and City officials who worked quickly to keep everyone safe.
