Project Challenge
Permit needed to be submitted in a compressed timeline to meet the deadline with Utah Department of Environmental Quality. CRS mitigated this challenge by outlining a phased submittal to allow UDEQ to begin reviewing information early with a final deliverable that met the required deadline.
CRS Solution/Benefit
CRS prepared an Industrial Stormwater Permit Application including a Storm Water Pollution Prevention Plan identifying pollutant sources, known spills and leaks and corrective action taken at the time, allowable non-stormwater discharges and non-stormwater discharge evaluation coming from outfalls to Farmington Creek, and compiled non-structural stormwater control measures already in place to the Utah Department of Environmental Quality. CRS also worked with Lagoon to prepare an inspection plan to meet permit requirements.
