The recent expansion of the Sandy City Amphitheater provided a 35% increase in fixed chair seating plus hillside blanket seating for viewing performances;
a building addition, creating a special reception space for performing artist meet and greet events; redesign of the east hillside to include outdoor dining area and water feature with sitting wall(s), and design of a new accessible sidewalk/path from the east parking lot to the upper amphitheater seating area, with safety features to direct pedestrian traffic to cross 9400 South and 1300 East within designated crosswalks.
