Flint Street at the intersection of 200 North in Kaysville City routinely experiences substantial traffic delays during peak hours. The potential for vehicular conflict at this intersection increases as delayed motorists on Flint Street attempt to make left and right turns on to 200 North into continuous east/west flowing traffic. The intersection is also unsafe for pedestrians who must cross without crosswalk pavement markings, signs, or signals. The angle of the intersection & proximity of trees contributed to poor sight distance increasing potential for conflict. Construction budget is $2.2 million.
